Complete notices move faster

A notice that includes every required element is easier to assess and process without delay.

Counter-notifications are supported

Affected users may respond with a legally compliant counter-notice where applicable.

False claims carry risk

Misrepresentations in notices or counter-notices may create legal consequences.

1. Our takedown policy

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement that comply with applicable law. We may remove or disable access to material while reviewing a claim or after determining that action is appropriate.

We also maintain a policy for terminating repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

2. What to include in a DMCA notice

Send your notice to [email protected] and include enough detail for us to identify both the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material.

  • Your full legal name and, if applicable, the name of the rights holder you represent.
  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact URL or URLs of the material you want us to review or remove.
  • Your contact information, including email address and mailing address when available.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is unauthorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

3. Counter-notification process

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected].

A valid counter-notification generally must identify the removed material, provide your contact details, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was erroneous, and include the consent statements required by applicable law.

4. Repeat infringer policy

Where appropriate, we may suspend or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe or repeatedly trigger valid intellectual property complaints.

We reserve the right to consider the seriousness, credibility, and history of complaints when making these decisions.

5. Good-faith reporting only

Do not submit notices or counter-notices casually or strategically. These are legal statements, and knowingly false claims can expose you to liability.

If you are unsure whether your issue is copyright infringement, seek qualified legal advice before filing.
